FAQs

What is the Company policy if a sailing is cancelled due to the weather?
If Waverley Excursions have cancelled the sailing we can offer passengers the opportunity to use their ticket on any other sailing - during this season or the next - up to any value, even if your new cruise is more expensive than the one you had booked for. Customers can also obtain a full refund by returning their unused tickets to the original point of purchase or post to 36 Lancefield Quay, Glasgow G3 8HA.
What if I cannot make a sailing I have already booked for?
No refunds can be issued for sailings that actually take place. We can transfer this ticket onto any other sailing up to the same value. A full credit note can also be issued which can be redeemed against tickets or can also be used on board either ship in the restaurant or bars
What disabled/wheelchair facilities do you have onboard?
Both Waverley & Balmoral have a disabled toilet facility - Waverley's is located on the main deck. The gangways leading onto both ships are ridged and therefore wheelchair passengers will have to be lifted onto the ship. Our Crew are happy to assist wheelchair & less-agile passengers to negotiate the different areas of the vessels. Please call in advance if there are any queries. Whilst we welcome disabled passengers aboard our ships not all piers and ports are suitable, and we apologise if we are unable to carry passengers due to this.
