DUNOON BOILER REFIT APPEAL EVENT – 26TH oCTOBER 

Queen’s Hall, Argyll Street, Dunoon, PA23 7HH – 10AM – 5PM
Waverley souvenirs including limited edition appeal merchandise will be on sale throughout the day plus there is an opportunity to admire John McNulty’s models of Paddle Steamers Jeanie Deans and “Duchess of Hamilton.”

In addition, Iain Quinn will present a morning and afternoon illustrated talk on “Paddle Steamer Waverley and the Craigendoran Steamers” at 12.30pm and 3pm. Entry to the costs £5 with all proceeds going to the Boiler Refit Appeal.

HELENSBURGH SAVE THE WAVERLEY EVENT – 14th November

Inveraray Boiler Refit Appeal Event – 23RD nOVEMBER

The Inveraray Inn, Front Street East, Inveraray, PA32 8XB, 11am – 5pm

Pictorial steamer display with the opportunity to purchase Waverley souvenirs, Christmas stocking fillers and to admire John McNulty’s magnificent Steamer models. Entry is free. Iain Quinn will give a talk on “Inveraray Pier and Steamers” at 1.45pm, admission is £5. All proceeds go to the Boiler Refit Appeal. This event is supported by The Inveraray Inn.

Oban Save The Waverley Event – 30th NOVEMBER

Caledonian MacBrayne Oban Ferry terminal, PA34 4DB – 11am – 4:30pm

An opportunity to purchase Waverley souvenirs, Christmas stocking fillers and help contribute to the Boiler REfit Appeal. Admire John McNulty’s magnificent Steamer models including King George V. A photo gallery display of Waverley and CalMac ferries.

 

Coastal Cruising Association (CCA) – AGM dinner & SAVE THE Waverley Appeal Evening – 25th January

Osprey Suit, Commodore Inn, Helensburgh, Saturday 25th January from 7pm.

Tickets for this event and the three course meal are £22 with a donation of £5 from each ticket sold going to the Boiler Refit Appeal. The after dinner speaker will be Captain Chris Spencer, retired Harwich & Firth of Clyde pilot and relief Master on PS Waverley. During the evening guests will be invited to enter a Save The Waverley raffle and Paul Semple will give an update on Waverley as the Invited Guest.
